The Rule Book

North Georgia Roleplay's complete rule set — Discord community standards, ER:LC in-game roleplay, punishment scale, and 10-codes. Read every rule before joining a session.

Part I

Discord Rules

Apply at all times in our Discord server — text, voice, DMs, and profile.

General Discord Conduct

  • 01Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, slurs, doxxing, or discrimination of any kind.
  • 02No NSFW, gore, shock content, or anything illegal — in messages, profile pics, statuses, or stickers.
  • 03English only in public channels so staff can moderate effectively.
  • 04Do not start, encourage, or escalate drama. Take personal disputes to DMs or a ticket.
  • 05Follow Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines at all times.

Channels & Spam

  • 01Use channels for their intended topic. Read the channel description before posting.
  • 02No spam: wall-of-text, copypasta, mass mentions, repeated emojis, or message flooding.
  • 03Do not ping @everyone, @here, staff, or the Owner unless it is an actual emergency.
  • 04Keep memes, off-topic, and media in the designated channels.
  • 05Do not bump or repost a question if staff has not answered yet — be patient.

Advertising & Self-Promo

  • 01No advertising other servers, communities, or services in chat, DMs, or status.
  • 02No promoting your own YouTube/Twitch/TikTok unless it directly features North Georgia Roleplay content and staff has approved it.
  • 03DM advertising = instant ban with no appeal.

Voice Channels

  • 01No mic spam, soundboards, ear-rape, voice changers, or playing music over people.
  • 02No channel hopping to disrupt other conversations.
  • 03Do not record voice chats without everyone's consent.
  • 04Keep AFK use of voice channels reasonable — staff may move you.

Staff, Tickets & Reports

  • 01Staff have final say in all situations. Argue a decision in a ticket, not in public chat.
  • 02Do not impersonate staff, mods, or other members in nickname, avatar, or DMs.
  • 03Open a ticket for reports, ban appeals, applications, and staff complaints — one ticket per issue.
  • 04Provide clear evidence (video clip preferred). Edited clips or screenshots without context will be denied.
  • 05Ticket abuse, troll tickets, or threatening staff = warn → mute → ban.
Part II

In-Game Rules (ER:LC)

Apply in every North Georgia Roleplay session. Civilians, LEO, Fire, and EMS all included.

Core Roleplay Standards

  • 01Stay in character at all times while in the server. Use //, (( )), or LOOC for out-of-character messages.
  • 02No FailRP — your actions must make sense for your character (no jumping out of moving cars to shoot, no superhero stunts).
  • 03FearRP — when a gun is on you, comply unless you have realistic counter-leverage.
  • 04No metagaming — information from Discord, streams, or OOC chat cannot be used in scene.
  • 05No powergaming — give other players a fair chance to react, type, or respond.
  • 06No cop-baiting, troll RP, or intentionally creating low-effort scenes to waste people's time.
  • 07Give every scene a realistic ending. Do not log out mid-scene to avoid consequences (combat/RP logging).

RDM, VDM & Combat

  • 01No RDM (Random Deathmatch) — you need a clear, in-character reason to engage in lethal force.
  • 02No VDM (Vehicle Deathmatch) — never intentionally ram players or vehicles outside of an authorized PIT.
  • 03An initiation (verbal threat with intent) is required before opening fire on another player.
  • 04No NLR violations — if you die, you forget the events leading to your death and stay out of the area for 10 minutes.
  • 05No spawn killing, base raiding spawns, or camping hospital/PD entrances.
  • 06Group fights require fair numbers. No 6v1 zerg scenes.

Driving & Vehicles

  • 01Drive realistically. Reckless driving outside of pursuits is ticketable and punishable.
  • 02Yield to emergency vehicles with lights and sirens active.
  • 03No driving in oncoming traffic, sidewalks, or buildings unless the scene reasonably calls for it.
  • 04Stolen vehicles must be roleplayed — no instant joyriding through dense traffic.
  • 05No vehicle surfing, ghost riding, or impossible-physics stunts.
  • 06Civilians: max one chase vehicle per crew unless a scene is approved.

Law Enforcement (LEO)

  • 01Must be on duty, properly uniformed, and authorized by department leadership.
  • 02Follow real-world pursuit protocols. PIT above 45 mph requires supervisor approval.
  • 03Use Code 3 (lights + siren) only for legitimate emergencies, pursuits, or 10-80 calls.
  • 04Probable cause is required for searches, seizures, and use of force.
  • 05Excessive force, planted evidence, or unjustified shootings = strike and possible removal.
  • 06Respect the chain of command. Supervisor on scene has final tactical call.

Fire / EMS

  • 01Treat every patient — even criminals. Refusing care without IC reason is failRP.
  • 02Stage at a safe distance until LEO declares Code 4 on hot scenes.
  • 03No reviving in active gunfights. Wait for the scene to be secure.
  • 04Stay in character during medical RP — give realistic treatment times and outcomes.

Civilian Conduct

  • 01Civilians cannot impersonate police, fire, or EMS unless approved as a 'fake cop' scene by staff.
  • 02Crime needs intent and an RP reason. No 'I'm bored so I'm shooting up downtown.'
  • 03Hostage situations require staff acknowledgement and a maximum of 3 hostages per scene.
  • 04Do not loiter at PD, hospital, or fire stations without an RP reason.

Exploits & Cheating

  • 01No exploits, glitches, cheats, macros, modded clients, or third-party software.
  • 02Do not abuse map terrain (rocks, invisible walls, OOB areas) for combat advantage.
  • 03Report bugs in a ticket — abusing a known bug = permanent ban.
  • 04Stream sniping or queue sniping a staff member = ban.

Session & Dispatch

  • 01Listen to dispatch and supervising staff. Refusing direct orders during a scene = strike.
  • 02Use /911 only for in-character emergencies. Spam = mute + warn.
  • 03Do not start a major scene (bank, jewelry, hostage) without a staff member online.
  • 04Keep crosschat to a minimum. Use the right radio channel for your unit.
Part III

Punishment Scale

Punishments stack across both Discord and in-game offenses. Severe violations skip steps.
